Mr. Akwasi Afriyie Tandoh

Akwasi A. Tandoh is a Co-Founder of Proteges Academy (PGA) and oversees the strategic operations of the School. He is an astute HR professional with over twenty-one (21) years of local and international experience from diverse institutions. Akwasi is currently the Head of HR Shared Services, Performance Management & Reward at Fidelity Bank. He held positions as HR Manager at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Head of HR at Mon-Tran Ltd – one of the leading HR outsourcing firms. He also held roles as HR Relationship Manager at Standard Chartered Bank New York Branch, USA and Personnel Officer at the Sainsbury’s Plc London, UK.
He has great expertise in Coaching (certified Strengths Coach by Gallup University), Mentoring, Innovation, Leadership, Reward & Recognition, Industrial Relations, HR Policy and Procedure Governance, Performance Management and Employee Development. He is the resident Pastor of Kavod House of God, located on the Spintex Road.
Akwasi holds MSc. Industrial Relations & HR Management from London School of Economics – UK; Certificate in European HRM & Industrial Relations from Erasmus University – Rotterdam, Holland, Certificate in Organizational Renewal from Harvard Business School, and B.A Psychology from University of Ghana – Legon, Ghana.
